Essential oils have been a big part of living more sustainably and focusing on a holistic and natural lifestyle. But instead of just using them for particular circumstances like when you have bad anxiety or to help with a skin condition, consider some of these ways you can use them more daily.

Daily Cleaning and Deodorizing

The first way essential oils can help you daily for your holistic lifestyle is by cleaning and deodorizing your home. Think about how often you use products with added chemicals and artificial ingredients that you don’t need. Lemon essential oil is perfect for deodorizing different spaces in your home and adding to your natural cleaning supplies for a bit of scent in your home. It can even kill some bacteria, so it is excellent to add to your all-purpose cleaner if you use a natural variety.

Boost Your Energy Naturally

You may also find that using certain essential oils in the morning gives you a natural energy boost. The citrus essential oils like orange, lemon, grapefruit, and bergamot are a great place to start. Put a few drops in an essential oil diffuser in the morning during your morning routine to get a nice boost of energy. You may also want to try something a bit stronger on days when you are extra sleepy, such as peppermint.

Need to reduce stress and relax your mind and body? Several essential oils can help you do this. Think of those relaxing scents in your other self-care products as a guide to which essential oils will help with relaxing. This often includes lavender, rose, chamomile, and sweet orange. They are soothing, reduce stress and anxiety, and are fantastic for your skin and hair growth as well. It’s hard not to find the benefits of using these types of oils daily.

If you suffer from chronic pain, especially when it comes to inflammation in your diet, essential oils can be beneficial. Tea tree oil, lavender, frankincense, bergamot, and roman chamomile are excellent at reducing inflammation to help with pain or muscle cramping. For pain or inflammation, try adding a few drops to your bath water with a bit of Borax.

With essential oils every day, you can enhance your new holistic lifestyle and use natural remedies. Since essential oils are safe to use daily, be creative while incorporating these valuable items in your life.
